MoneyMirror — Privacy Policy

Overview

MoneyMirror is a personal expense tracker. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can request deletion.

Data we collect

• Account info: email, name, avatar (optional).
• Expense data: amounts, category, date, note, tag.
• Diagnostics & analytics: crash reports, device identifiers, anonymous usage events (some event params may include category and amount).
• Auth tokens: OAuth tokens handled by Supabase/Google for session management.

How we use data

• App functionality: storing and retrieving your expenses and profile.
• Account management: authentication and session management.
• Analytics: aggregated usage metrics to improve the app (Firebase Analytics).
• Diagnostics: crash reports to troubleshoot issues (Firebase Crashlytics).

Third parties

We store and process data using Supabase (database/auth) and use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (Google) for analytics and crash reporting. Google may receive analytics and crash data per their policies. Google may also provide profile info when you sign in with Google.

Security

All communications use HTTPS/TLS. We rely on Supabase and Firebase security practices and Row-Level Security for per-user access control.

Retention & deletion

We delete account and user-created records within 7 days of a confirmed deletion request. Backups, logs, and analytics may be retained up to 90 days by third‑party providers.

How to request deletion

Email support@moneymirror.app with subject Delete my MoneyMirror account, include your account email (and Supabase user id if known). We will confirm and process within 5 business days.

Data for children

We do not target children under 13. If content is targeted to children, contact us at the support address above.
